Is My Roof Right For Solar

Breaking down types of roofs asphalt shingle, metal roofs, flat epdm, flat rolled asphalt.

Venture Solar specializes in installing solar panels on a variety of roof types, including asphalt shingle, metal, rolled asphalt, and EPDM roofs. We pride ourselves on using SnapNrack products, renowned for their strength, durability, and long-term performance. Here's how we handle different roof types:

  • For asphalt shingle roofs, the most common type in residential areas, we mount the panels directly into the roof rafters, using professional flashing for a fast, cost-effective, and reliable installation.
  • Metal roofs, including both standing seam and corrugated metal, are compatible with our systems. Installations on standing seam metal roofs often require no penetrations, making them extremely durable and ideal for solar.
  • Rolled asphalt roofs, often found on flat or low-slope structures, are securely anchored into the structural decking and professionally sealed to ensure long-term waterproofing.
  • EPDM (rubber) flat roofs use a synthetic membrane roofing system. For these, we can use either ballasted or mechanically attached mounts, engineered for structural integrity and proper drainage.

Every installation we undertake is meticulously designed to ensure structural safety, waterproofing protection, and optimal long-term system performance, regardless of the roof type.
