Your solar system is backed by multiple layers of warranty coverage — from Venture Home's installation warranty to manufacturer warranties on the equipment itself. Here's a breakdown of what's covered and by whom.


Venture Home Workmanship Warranty — 10 Years

Venture Home provides a 10-year workmanship warranty on every installation we complete.

What It Covers

Installation quality, including:

  • All roof penetrations made during installation
  • Structural issues attributable to our installation work
  • Roof leaks caused by our installation

How to Make a Claim

If you experience a roof leak or structural issue that is attributable to our installation work, Venture Home will address it at no cost to you within this warranty period.

Equipment Warranties — Customer-Owned Systems

Solar Panels

  • Duration: 25-year product warranty
  • Coverage: Manufacturing defects and performance degradation beyond specified thresholds
  • Provider: Panel manufacturer

Enphase Microinverters

  • Duration: 25-year product warranty
  • Note: The Enphase IQ Gateway (communication hub) carries a separate 5-year warranty
  • Provider: Enphase

Tesla Powerwall (Battery)

  • Duration: 10-year product warranty
  • Labor: Tesla's warranty also covers associated labor costs for any covered repairs
  • Provider: Tesla

Tesla Solar Inverter

  • Duration: 12.5-year product warranty
  • Labor: Also covered by Tesla
  • Provider: Tesla

Making Equipment Warranty Claims

TPO Coverage — Lease and PPA Customers

If your system is financed through a lease or Power Purchase Agreement (PPA), your finance provider owns the equipment and is responsible for its maintenance and upkeep.

Coverage Duration

Full term of your agreement — typically 25 years

What's Included

  • All required maintenance and repairs
  • System monitoring
  • Insurance on the equipment
  • Production guarantee with money-back coverage if your system underperforms

Your Responsibility

Nothing. As a lease or PPA customer, you should never pay out of pocket for a system repair or equipment failure.

  3. They will coordinate the appropriate service

    • Homeowner alterations
    • Third-party work on the system
    • Extreme weather events (may be insurance claim)
    • Neglect or misuse
